The North East Florida Honey bee Association
has one of the largest associations in the state and are recognized
as a leader in providing events which contribute to the success of
the beekeeping community and educate the public about the vital
importance of the honey bee. We are able to accomplish these
goals because our superior membership gets involved and
stays involved we meet at the Clay Co. Agricultural Center, 2463
16W, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Meetings are held 2nd
Monday of each month at 7p.m.

Message from Nancy Gentry, NEFHBA president

September 2, 2008

Dear Members,

As we shift into the autumn of the year, it's time to start thinking about who will be
your new president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer for 2009..Our
Constitution states, "  Sixty days (60) prior to the elections of officers(election occurs
in December,) nominations will be taken from the membership; further nominations
may be made from the floor,"

At the October 13th meeting,  Jackie Post will be reporting to the membership all the
names that have been submitted to her for nomination. If you have someone in
mind for an office, please make sure they would like their name considered before
you contact Jackie; feel free to also nominate yourself, as many times other
members are not aware of your desire to become more involved…

You may reach Jackie at  jap1984@aol.com
